We arrived in Quito around 9:00pm and were met by out tour guide, insert name, and our driver Giovani. We are staying at the Hotel Akros which is quite nice. Our first friend of the trip is Alidio, the sweet, little ole bellhop (botones in Spanish). After getting us settled in our room he escorted us up to the roof to view the city. WOW!!
