Futbol/Ballet Folklorico

Comprmaos unos boletos para ver el Ballet Folklorico pero cuando llegamos nos digo que el show fue cancelado porque Ecuador iba a jugar en el cameonato fubolista. Entonces comimos en un restarante que se llama Texas Pollo y regresamos al hotel para mirar con los aficionados locos del fubol. Fue bastante divertido pero tuvimos mucho sueno y acostamos antes del fin del partido. Supimos que gano el ecquipo ecuatoriano cuando la gente empzezo gritar y festejar en las calles. Que emociantes estuvieron. Fue la primers vez en la historia que ecuador ha ganado este campeonato.

We bought ticket to a performance of Ballet Folklorico to see the traditional dances of Ecuador. When we arrived to the theatre they informed us that it had been cancelled due to the championship soccer game between Ecuador and Brazil. We then went to dinner at a fried chicken restarant named Texas Pollo. The food was great! Not your typical KFC. We ate plantains as a side instead of fries. Then we went back to the hotel to watch the game in the lobby with some crazed local fans. It was a lot of fun but we were too tired to watch the whole game. We went to bed without know who was going to win. Hmmmm. We found out about an hour later that Ecuador had won because everyone was screaming and going crazy cheering it the streets. It was the first time they had won this championship so they were unbelievably excited.
